San Jose String Quartet - Biography

Linus Eukel, has appeared in a variety of leading and featured roles with such companies as the Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Opera on Tour, San Francisco Opera, Augusta Opera, Tri-Cities Opera and CalArts Performances. As a concert soloist his credits include performances with the New York City Symphony at Carnegie Hall, Bach Society of New York, the Cabrillo and Mendocino Summer Music Festivals, Arizona Desert Foothills MusicFest, Cincinnati Music Hall, Clemens Center, Music on the Divide, Yates Performing Arts Series, Music in the Mountains Spring, Summer and Fall Festivals as well as Arts Alive Broadcasting for PBS. He is the recipient of a Gardner Career Grant, Tri-Cities Opera Award, winner in the Stewart and Berkeley Triennial award competitions and a graduate in music from the University of California at Berkeley and the University of New York.
